Early Education

I grew up in Southend, beginning my studies at Milton Road Mosque before moving to Essex Jamme Masjid. Teaching in the early 2000s was limited and challenging, but those experiences inspired my passion to improve Islamic education for the next generation.

Studies

 

Alhamdulillah, I was blessed to learn under a variety of scholars and completed my ʿĀlimiyyah in London. My studies covered the classical Islamic sciences including Qur’an, Tafsīr, ʿAqīdah, Fiqh, Hadīth, Usūl, and many other foundational subjects.

Vision for Students

 

Today’s society presents many challenges for young Muslims. I believe a strong Islamic identity, rooted in good character, is essential. Inspired by the example of past Muslims, I want to nurture kindness, honesty, and firm principles in the next generation.

Teaching Style

 

Since qualifying as a teacher, my goal has been to deliver knowledge in a way that is engaging, practical, and relevant to children’s lives. May Allah bless our students, preserve their īmān, and make them shining examples of Islam. Āmīn.

I have been studying under Maulana Samir for the past eight years, mimicking an Ālimiyyah programme.

 

This experience has deepened my passion for Islamic knowledge and inspired me to continue learning throughout my life.

 

I am grateful to have access to an Ustadh, whose guidance has enriched both my studies and my personal development, especially through the most impressionable age of my life.

 

Beyond the subjects themselves, my Islamic studies have taught me invaluable life lessons which further propel my desire to try to keep firm to the path of Allah.
